The Illowa Council and the Quad Cities Marathon have teamed up to promote the health of our Scouts and Scouting volunteers. We would like to invite Scouts, Scout volunteers, and your non-Scouting friends and family to take part in this year’s Quad Cities Marathon. There are races for everyone and every ability from 26.2 miles to the one mile walk.

By signing up for a race you are supporting the Illowa Council, Boy Scouts in the Non-Profit Challenge. If you register on-line question #7 will ask you for a Non-profit organization, if you fill out a paper registration form there is a blue box for you to put the Non-profit you are running for. The Non-profit that has the most supporters running in races will receive the traveling trophy. The Non-profit Challenge is new this year, let’s show the QCA what we can do!

How to register:

1. Register online or print out a form at www.qcmarathon.org

2. Pick up QC Marathon registration forms at the Illowa Council Service Center
