Unit Activity and Photos
If any unit in Kittan wants to send us a small news article, and pictures of Unit events or activities, we will gladly post them on the website for other units and leaders to see whats going on in the District, and of course probably be a little jealous as well since they arent the ones being featured. So send in your articles and photos to Michael Gullion, labled "Unit Activity" and we will get them posted for all to see!
Pack 84 held its annual Fishing Derby and cookout on May 24 at Middle Park Lagoon in Bettendorf. Fishing poles were awarded to the boys who caught the most fish (28), the smallest fish (2 ¾ in) and the largest fish (a monster 15” catfish).
Pack 203 participated in the Long Grove Strawberry Festival parade this past weekend - they managed to finish the whole parade on Sunday about 10 minutes before the heaven’s opened up and the rain came DOWN!!! The Pack was able this year to march in front of their ‘brother’ troop - Boy Scout Troop 203. It seemed like the whole area came out to watch! The boys had a great time marching and throwing candy, they really love having these opportunities to get together in the summertime!
