The Sha-Bo-Na District Recognizes those who work to make Scouting the best it can be. Every year at the Sha-Bo-Na District Dinner those who have given their time and effort are acknowledged in many different ways. The District Award of Merit is awarded to those who have served at the district level and have met certain criteria as out-lined in the application. The Sha-Bo-Na District is allowed to award only two of these awards yearly. Applications should be submitted to the District Advancement Chair.  District Award of Merit Nomination Application The Butch Parton Award is a Sha-Bo-Na Exclusive that is awarded to those who have exceptionally exceeded expectations for service to the District and have met the criteria as out-lined in the application. Applications should be submitted to the District Advancement Chair  Butch Parton Award Nomination Application Service Awards are awarded those who have served as adult leaders at all levels of Scouting recognizing their time invested in the Boy Scouts of America as a registered adults.
