Kittan District Dinner December 11th
Attention Kittan Scouters....Kittan District Dinner will be held on December 11th at St. Johns Methodist Church (109 E. 14th St, Davenport, IA). The evening will begin at 6:30pm with fellowship which is to be followed up by dinner and awards at 7pm. The evening promise to be a great one as we recognize the District Award of Merit recipients. Please register your party at the Illowa Council Scout Shop. Registration will be $10 and accepted through December 8th. Registration Form

Family FOS Presentations Are Coming To Your Unit Soon!!!!
Attention All Scout Leaders!!! The Kittan District Family Friends of Scouting Committee is asking for dates to your Blue and Golds and Court of Honors for 2009. It is that time of year again, when we schedule your unit for their annual Family presentation. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come and talk about all the good things in Scouting and enlist the support of your fellow Scout parents. District Award of Merit Nominations - With District Dinner fast approaching in December; (more information on District Dinner will be provided in the future) We are looking for nominations for the ever so prestigious District Award of Merit. If you believe that you know of a volunteer within Kittan District that is deserving of this award, please fill out a nomination form, District Award of Merit Nomination Form ,and turn it back into the Scout office, to the attention of Mike Meadows or Michael Gullion, by December 1st, so that all applicants can be reviewed and recipients chosen.
