Illowa Council Mission, Goals, and Objectives
Mission
To keep the promise of Scouting by building on our previous successes through:
  • more active communication;
  • empowered volunteers;
  • increased membership;
  • improved fiscal strength;
  • and constant review of our operations performance.

Goals and Objectives
Membership:
  • Increase enrollment, numbers of units, # of youth/unit and market penetration over 2001 numbers.
Manpower:
  • Fix a baseline % of actual top leaders who are trained.
  • Start tracking training with ScoutNet.
Marketing:
  • Conduct surveys of key audiences.
  • Improve the Scouter; launch the next version of the Council's website
  • Raise the profile of the Council in a positive manner.
